Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell (born on 25th August 1949) is an American television chef and host. She was also an instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. She hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on Food Network. Food Network. Anne Burrell, a Food Network celebrity with her signature spiky blonde hair and a bubbly personality, reveals simple methods to master and removes anxiety about restaurant food on her TV show Secrets of a Restaurant. Chef Burrell is also an experienced chef of New York City's best restaurants. She has also explored Italy's cuisine and the culture of Italy, along with the natural landscape. As a child in the upstate New York area, Chef Burrell discovered a love for food and cooking from a young age. She pursued her passion for food and restaurant by enroling at The Culinary Institute of America after obtaining a degree in English and Communication from Canisius College, Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was a fantastic adventure. It was impossible to learn, do or work enough. After graduating, chef Burrell resided in Italy for a whole year attending the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. She also worked in La Taverna del Lupo and La Bottega del 30 (a Michelin star restaurant) in Tuscany. While in Italy she was able to fully comprehend and appreciate the philosophy behind Italian food and culture that made a lasting impression on her culinary perspective. Burrell served as a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board to brighten the lives of kids facing difficulties. Additionally, she is a Juvenile Research Foundation Celebrity ambassador who promotes education about children with diabetes. As a speaker, she is on the road to share her passion for food as well as her career in the culinary field. Anne says she was incredibly fortunate to be able to be able to share her passion for cooking with other people.
